1) Larger 10” Bell - Reiter bell, likely manufactured by a company based in Canton, Ohio. These bells have a history of being used in various applications in Firehouses, Schools, Transportation and are known for their loud spring action hammer mechanism. Works well…very loud!
Manufacturing Location: Reiter bells were associated with Canton, Ohio.
Known Uses: Examples of these bells have been identified as vintage school bells and railroad signal bells.
2) Smaller 6” Bell does not have markings other than “6 60” stamp on iron mounting plate just behind ringer mallet. Research points to a vintage boxing bell. Could also be trolley related. Works well!
