The plate indicates the equipment was part of the "Series M" trust.
It names the United States Trust Company of New York as the trustee, owner, and lessor.
The Louisville and Nashville Railroad (L&N) was a Class I railroad that operated freight and passenger services in the southeastern United States.
The L&N was often called the "Old Reliable".
