Nice vintage trophy awarded to the best shooting in the Maryland State Guard. It honored Major General D. H. Mohr.
It was won by “Company D-6th Battalion 984” in 1948.
I guess they never had the competition thereafter or the trophy was never engraved forward.
It has a few scuffs and some of the gold plating is worn, but not bad for 70+ years old!
